Granite Sculpture Mammalapuram
Granite sculpture Mahabalipuram 2017 (2005 was my previous introduction for 6 month) was over eight weeks of an intensive workshop in granite sculpture. The first series was with a street sculpture master who aided in fine-tuning the yoga series. I later developed further works at the dry tropics studio. Phase two was a studio at a traditional sculpture manufacturing firm. The firm with stone granite masons and iconographers demonstrated various patterns and shapes. Various international interests have set up schools in modernist sculptural styles.
